Happiness is a state of mind and is subjective. More money, more happiness might be true in some cases but wealth alone cannot give you happiness. Policy makers need to focus on more important issues like alleviating poverty, increasing literacy, awareness of health care, family and broader understanding of societal wellbeing rather than mere material goods.
More focus should be given on closing the economic gap. Money is essential for good healthcare. A healthy mind and body is a true sign of happiness.
