Modi has no opposition in India

I agree with K. Ragavan's letter (Modi's party loses three states, but that's okay; KT, Dec. 13). The result of five assembly elections is indeed a wake-up call for the BJP cadre to get their act together. It's not the end of Modi or his party as the opposition would like to believe. The BJP has 15 states with its government, Congress has 6, and 6 are with others. I think people opposing Indian PM Narendra Modi should wake up and smell the coffee because the Congress does not have the wherewithal to oppose his party alone in the 2019 General Elections.
