Life is the greatest teacher of all

The headline of the article University of life taught me more than any school did (KT, Dec 8) said it all. Life's experience, and usually the bitter ones, teach invaluable lessons. They make us wise and brave. The harder the path, the better the results. There is no match to what we gain from life experiences, and one cannot compare those learnings with the ones attained in a classroom or educational literature. Mr Richard Branson's thoughts are living example of this theory.
