Steps have been taken by different knowledge development authorities and education boards for the implementation of changes for betterment of standards in education.

The focus given for special education, technical expertise and other facets of education is indeed praise worthy. However, the question that pops up in one’s mind is whether an education system should merely be adopted by blindly aping a system, which may have been good in a particular country. The system adopted in a Western setup needs not necessarily be suitable for all the schools in general. While introducing reforms and innovations the cultural, traditional and distinct, unique factors of every country should be kept in mind.

Trying to introduce concepts, which are considered very effective in the Western world of education, need not be so in other parts of the world. Therefore, much thought should be given before sacrificing the inherent strengths of any established setup that working well before. In fact, there should be the freedom to choose the best of both worlds.
