India-US ties

The American president has to justify every such action to senior leaders of the party and the opposition that it (his decision) is in interest of the United States.

The recent acceptance of President Barack Obama to attend the Indian Republic Day celebrations should not be treated as a friendly gesture to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The American president has to justify every such action to senior leaders of the party and the opposition that it (his decision) is in interest of the United States.

The recent visit of Modi to the US has given strong indications to the Obama administration that India is prepared to accept the American terms in developing trade between the two countries, especially the nuclear deal on which India was not earlier agreeing on American conditions.

It is a right move by Modi or not is a discussion for experts but even a common man can understand that Americans don’t move an inch without national interests motives.
