Hasty reforms in Delhi University

This is with reference to the discontinuance of the four-year undergraduate programme introduced by the University of Delhi. Introduction of reforms in the education system needs to be studied and verified thoroughly before effective implementation.

Trial and error method must be done away with totally because it causes unnecessary anxieties to the students and parents.

This uncertainty end up 
damaging the future of the young students and if once 
the damage is done it is very difficult to rectify or justify. There should be ample practical studies conducted before implementation of any such reform in the Indian scenario.

Educational reforms are not like a corporate decision or a decision that will affect only a limited number of people. It involves a series of consequences for many years to come. 
Therefore, any change in the existing system of education needs to be carefully studied by a team of experts and a public opinion from the cross section of the society, especially the teachers and curriculum designers, ought to be taken into account to avoid such chaos, adding pressure to the already existing stress regarding the admission and pursuit of different courses of study.
