Has good driving sense gone with the wind?

It is with great deliberation that I read the news, 'Tailgating caused 38 deaths in Dubai last year'. I am glad the police have launched a campaign targeting motorists who do not leave enough distance between vehicles. I see at least 20 drivers tailgating during my 20km drive from office. Entering exits at the last moment, using no signals while shifting lanes.... Literally speaking, good driving sense has gone for a toss. There is zero patience. My hearty regards to the Dubai Police and authorities.
