Farce calls
It has become a norm now that people who dupe themselves as ‘Etisalat’ employees call from unknown numbers to cheat consumers, by saying that the recipient had won award to the tune of one-million dirhams.

I received a similar call on Monday (August 26) at around 2.20pm from 050-1500173. The man was abusive when I refused to take his words seriously. The authorities concerned should probe into such calls and bring the cons to book.
