Dust, Noise pollution

I stay at the Dubai Residential Oasis in Al Qusais. Right behind my building is Al Qusais Industrial Area 2. There are a couple of cement factories in this area.

The amount of dust particles that come from these factories is alarming. It is no longer a safe place for families to stay, especially for children as they continuously inhale the dust particles. The industrial area is surrounded by several residential buildings and the residents are at risk of suffering from breathing disorders.

Moreover, trucks and other vehicles that carry material to these factories are a huge disturbance. Even at night, between 12am and 5am, these trucks are continuously on the road.

Isn’t there a rule about honking in residential areas? Children get disturbed in their sleep. Old, pregnant and sick people are also not able to get a good night’s sleep due to the continuous noise. I request the authorities concerned to kindly look into the matter and put in place some rules and regulations.
