Cool heads should prevail

The United States Congress will review the peace deal negotiated with Iran and the major powers in the next few weeks. It is likely to reject the accord, thus intensifying the battle with Iran, in the name of regime change.
The imposition of stiffer sanctions on Iran will only serve to harden the attitude of the Iranian leaders. Today's multi-polar world order is an accumulation of "hot spots". The biggest and most crucial Middle East arc of crisis stretches form East Africa to Pakistan. Instead of intensifying rhetoric and sanctions, it's time for cooler heads on both sides to take charge of the situation before it gets too late.
