Amitabh Bachchan is a real superstar

Indian Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan truly deserves the Dada Saheb Phalke Award, the prestigious award in the Indian cinema. He is a great actor, performer, and entertainer, and also a very modest and fine human being.
In 1992, I attended an awards night and happen to sit on a table next to Amitabh Bachchan's. The company I worked for was among the sponsors of the show. The theme was 'Brave New Faces', but Bachchan was the centre of attention of all. Wherever he walked, people stood up to catch a glimpse. He was a star, even for the stars! He had won an award that night, too.
I congratulated him and mentioned that a colleague's sister desired to meet him, but could not penetrate the crowd of admirers around us. I didn't expect him to react, but he asked me where she was and followed me to the girl to shake hands with her. She was thrilled.
Mr Bachchan a big star and fine human being.
