Artificial Intelligence or innovative technology can definitely offer solutions that can help ensure the safety and security of passengers. Human error is unpredictable. However, if buses are equipped with sensors, it would help drivers stay more alert (Tech, not minibus ban, can prevent accidents in UAE: Expert, KT, Oct 13). Such features are a standard in cars, so why not include them for buses, too.

Proper lane barricades will help reduce traffic and maintain lane discipline. Most of the time, people don't follow lane markings, they simply swerve without indicators. This is a simple and cheap solution rather than investing time and money to curb people's behaviour.
