This refers to the letter (KT, August 26) where the writer says that most of the regular writers that contribute to these columns use flowery language and try to exhibit their expertise in English language.
I do not agree with his statement. Everyone has a different style of writing — some use lucid yet concise way of expressing themselves while a few use flowery language to reach out to the readers. But every contributor feels the same about an issue and wants to reach out to the larger audiences and the aim is to be precise and effective in whatever is being narrated or written about.
