More power to the people in the New Year and new decade

New Year is a time to start afresh, when we leave the past behind, yet learn from it. People want change all over the world but the old leadership and the elite remains entrenched. They live off the system. But the masses have had enough of leaders who divide and rule. Last year, we witnessed protests all over the world - in Hong Kong, Sudan, Lebanon, Algeria, Iran, Iraq, India, Pakistan and France. The people are tired of leaders who lack values. They want moral leadership and are prepared to fight and even for it. They have shunned the status quo and have used the power of dissent to make their voices heard. 2019 was a year of mass disruptions, the effects of which will be felt in 2020. The twenties is set to become the decade of the people.
