Cities in developing world are crowded, Delhi is no different

I have been to New Delhi many a time, and visited slums as well as the posh areas. The city is overcrowded and congested in most parts, just like any other metropolis in the developing world. Poor people live in crammed up spaces, the lanes are often narrow, which often is an issue in case of a mishap. Like it happened during Delhi factory blaze.
The workers who died did not have access to fire exits. One exit passage was blocked with raw materials, and the other was engulfed in fire. Poor people in this case were making just around $2 a day. It's really tragic how their lives ended. Heartfelt condolence to the bereaved families.
