Whether you care or not you probably already know - Kylie Jenner is pregnant. This, in the world we currently live in, is important news. Several media outlets, including TMZ and People, were reporting Friday that 20-year-old, youngest member of the reality show family, is expecting a child with her boyfriend Travis Scott.
Social media has literally had a breakdown. Despite the fact that people are still trying to come to terms with the validity of this news, there are still some (and we use the next word loosely) credibly, pieces of evidence that have been building up over the last couple of months to prove that yes, a baby is having a baby!

The Evidence:
. For a while now, fans have spotted that Kylie Jenner has been appearing in paparazzi shots as well as on her own Snapchat in baggy clothes.

. While appearing on the Kardashians 10th Anniversary Special, which funnily enough was aired around the same time the news of Kylie's pregnancy "leaked" (any guesses whose idea that was? Cough, cough, Kris Jenner) Kylie was shot from the waist up wearing a baggy top.

. Reports are coming in that Kylie is due in February which would make Travis Scott's cryptic tweet in June not so cryptic. He tweeted: Legit happiest day of my life.

. Ex-boyfriend Tyga (who is probably hating his life right now) responded publicly to the news on his Snapchat with the comment: Hell nah that's my kid. He then immediately deleted it. How is this evidence? Well, he believed it didn't he? He and Kylie probably still have a lot of close friends in common to confirm the news to him.

. Lastly, and to me the most important piece of evidence is that none of the Karadashian / Jenner sisters have confirmed or denied the news on their social media platforms. In the past, the sisters have been quick to defend each other and clear up any news or rumors that might damage their brand. So why so quiet now?

The Koncern:
So what do I think about this? Well even if one doesn't care, (which really I don't) it's hard to escape the fact that this news is everywhere. The frenzy to me is almost as hard to get away from when William and Kate decided to walk down the isle. Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, were all screaming at me "OMG Kylie Jenner is pregnant" - even my Uber driver had an opinion on the matter as the news was being talked about on the radio.

'How old is she?' he asked.

'20,' I told him to which he grunted.

I'm not sure why he grunted, whether he approved or judged the latest development in the life of the youngest Kardashian / Jenner member, I have no idea, but as he drove into work and decided to tell me what he'd had for breakfast that morning, I had already made up my mind on the matter.

Why is no one really acknowledging the fact that a child is having a baby? Literally a child. Lena Dunham (you know her, often or not for saying something really stupid and then back tracking on Twitter) - in any case, she tweeted something about Kylie's pregnancy that I found interesting. She tweeted: A solid 10 friends texted me triggered by Kylie pregnancy. I'm like "ladies she's 20. We were all v fertile then, we were just broke."
I don't think Lena Dunham's intention was to point out a misconception that exists there which I find morphed and weird - but she did. Why is it that just because Kylie is rich and famous that it's some how viewed as OK for her to have a baby? If this was any other 20-year-old who wasn't rich, famous and was in a relationship that hasn't even reached it's one year milestone, this would be a straight up tragedy not just for the mother but for the child.

I find it hard to believe, given the way Kylie has projected her life on Snapchat and on her own reality show Life of Kylie (which by the way was very poorly received) that she's in anyway ready to be a mother. I'm sure there was an episode on Keeping Up With the Kardashians where she wasn't even able to take care of her puppy. Kylie's lifestyle and the media frenzy surrounding her personal life is a constant circus. Some of you may be asking how Kylie's pregnancy is any different from her sisters, Kim and Kourtney. Good question. Well first of all, Kim and Kourtney weren't only just 20 year olds. They were both in committed relationships (please let's refrain from discussing the embarrassing status of Kourtney and Scott's current relationship status) at the time of getting pregnant and more importantly they were older. Being older, means knowing yourself. Seriously think about it, are you the same person you are now that you were when you were 20? No, and thank God for that.

Your 20s are dedicated for you to find out who you are, to have fun with your friends, to go out and explore the world. Now, if you're a mature 20-year-old (which I'm sure there are a handful out there) and happen to decide to have a child once you're in a serious relationship for some time (also unlikely in my head) then OK, maybe this would be good news. But if you're not. can I just remind everyone that Kylie Jenner has 97.7 million followers on instagram? A large part of her followers and fans are young girls who now, thanks to her and her family, think it's OK to completely change your appearance with plastic surgery.

I think the biggest indicator that Kylie and her boyfriend of now aren't ready to be responsible parents is the fact that they got pregnant in the first place. No one can convince me that this was a planned thing. The truth is, people aren't really interested to look at this facet of the problem - they are more interested in the memes (which in all honesty have been hilarious) and the next chapter of Kylie's life which will most likely involve a reality TV show to include her lavish over the top baby shower, baby mamma dramas, a special appearance from Catlin Jenner confronting Kris Jenner and a two hour special on the delivery of the baby all orchestrated and produced by Kris Jenner - the "hardest working mother in the world".
