Yango Group and noon announce strategic partnership to scale autonomous robot delivery across the GCC
Autonomous robots move from pilot to live operations, beginning with noon Minutes deliveries in Dubai

Yango Group, a global technology company, and noon, the region’s leading homegrown e-commerce platform, have announced a strategic partnership to deploy and scale autonomous robot delivery across the GCC.
The partnership begins with autonomous deliveries for noon Minutes customers, moving the technology from pilot testing to a live, operational service at scale. The joint initiative reflects both companies’ commitment to building the next generation of urban logistics and bringing practical, everyday autonomy to customers across the region.

Initially, the service will be deployed across selected communities in Dubai, with plans to expand across the UAE and the wider GCC over time. Future rollouts will be guided by operational performance data and customer feedback from the first phase.
As part of the first commercial deployment under the partnership, Yango Autonomy’s fully electric robots have begun fulfilling quick-commerce orders for noon Minutes customers in the Sobha Hartland community. Residents can select the robot delivery option directly within the noon app at checkout, track the robot’s progress in real time on the map, and unlock its secure compartment on arrival using their smartphone. The service offers an additional, contactless delivery option alongside noon Minutes’ existing delivery methods.
The launch demonstrates how autonomous delivery can integrate seamlessly into noon’s last-mile network, offering customers a fast, technology-driven way to receive everyday essentials.

The fully electric robots independently plan routes, navigate around obstacles, and give way to pedestrians. Powered by Yango’s AI-driven navigation and routing technologies, the robots have already completed more than 1,500 kilometres of fully autonomous travel during previous Dubai pilots, demonstrating their suitability for day-to-day deliveries in residential environments.
The initiative builds on prior approval from Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), which enabled the safe and efficient integration of autonomous delivery into the city’s streets and neighbourhoods. Yango Autonomy delivery robots are authorised to operate on public walkways and within residential areas, underscoring Dubai’s commitment to testing and adopting innovative mobility solutions.
The collaboration supports the UAE and Dubai’s broader strategic objectives to advance smart mobility, increase the share of autonomous transport, and reduce urban emissions. It also reflects a wider shift toward future-focused digital city infrastructure, where AI-enabled mobility services help streamline daily life for residents and businesses.
