Thumbay completes a year of Covid-19 testing

Thumbay Labs, owned by Thumbay Group, a leading network of diagnostic labs in the region has conducted a 'Rewards and Recognition' programme to felicitate outstanding staff members and to celebrate the success of the teams' achievements. Dr Thumbay Moideen, founder and president of Thumbay Group, was the chief guest of the event who gave away the awards in presence of Akbar Moideen Thumbay, vice-president of the healthcare division; Dr Nasir Parwaiz, director of Thumbay Labs; and other members of the healthcare division.

The staff were awarded for their exemplary performance in several different areas. Awards included mementoes and certificates.

Dr Moideen said: "Thumbay Labs has played a vital role in fighting the pandemic by conducting more than 3,000 Covid-19 PCR tests daily and introducing the antibody test to know the immunity status of patients. I congratulate the excellent team and Dr Nasir for the exceptional work done."

The lab regularly conducts events for staff motivation and appreciation based on its firm belief that a happy workforce leads to a happy environment for the patients and better patient care.
