A native of Los Angeles, Melik-Adamyan has distinguished herself as both a soloist and a collaborative artist. She earned top prizes in competitions such as the YMF/ASCAP Leiber & Stoller Scholarship and the Los Angeles Liszt International Competition, showcasing her virtuosity and musical depth. Melik-Adamyan has performed with orchestras and chamber ensembles around the world, and she co-founded the Amicus Duo with cellist Coleman Itzkoff, expanding her international chamber music credentials. In addition to her performance accolades, she serves as Music Director of the American Contemporary Ballet, a role in which she bridges classical music and dance. Highly sought after for recitals and collaborative performances, Melik-Adamyan’s artistry has brought her to some of the finest stages in the United States and beyond.
