He is also the founding clarinetist of the award-winning Prima Trio and has earned acclaim at multiple international competitions. In addition to orchestral and solo performances with many of the world’s leading ensembles, Allakhverdyan is a dedicated educator – he has given masterclasses across the globe and serves on the faculty of the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music and California State University, Fullerton. His artistry and experience reflect a truly international career, marking him as one of the leading clarinetists of his generation.

Alin Melik-Adamyan: Acclaimed pianist and collaborative artist
