The Indus Youth Ambassador Programme, initially run by 15 young pioneering minds in 2021, now proudly engages over 200 students from different schools across Dubai

The Indus Hospital, UAE, held an award ceremony on May 4, 2025 at the Metropolitan Hotel Dubai, for its Indus Youth Ambassadors. This was to celebrate the selfless contributions of children who volunteered their time to support free medical care initiatives by Indus Hospital & Health Network. Their dedication, compassion, and their commitment to making a difference in communities was truly inspiring.
The event featured guest of honours Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan ambassador to the UAE; Dania Tachouali, private sector partnership manager at Dubai Humanitarian; and Salwa Arfaoui, regional director in the real estate industry and Indus social media activist. These esteemed guests delivered heartfelt speeches, inspiring the young ambassadors to continue their remarkable work and stay committed to their causes, emphasising the profound impact of their contributions.
Each volunteer was recognised for their tireless efforts in helping provide essential medical care to those in need. Their enthusiasm and kindness have made a significant impact on numerous patients lives, particularly young children who are suffering from cancer.

The Indus Youth Ambassador Programme, initially run by 15 young pioneering minds in 2021, now proudly engages over 200 students from different schools across Dubai. The children (aged 10-18 years) are responsible for raising awareness about Indus Hospital & Health Network within their communities, and subsequently raising funds for the support of patients at IHHN. Each campaign is run in collaboration with Yallagive, an online fundraising platform, licensed by the Department of Islamic Affairs.
Through their extensive efforts and hard work, they have successfully raised an incredible Dh1.6 million. Their contributions not only provided essential chemotherapy sessions and blood transfusions to underprivileged children in Pakistan but also set a shining example for others to follow!
