Vista Maritime Travel and Tourism has reaffirmed its commitment to community welfare by organising a large-scale iftar for more than 500 labourers in Dubai. The initiative, part of the company’s wider corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme, reflects the values of compassion, unity, and generosity that lie at the heart of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The event brought together individuals from various nationalities around one shared table, creating an atmosphere of harmony and togetherness. By offering iftar meals to labourers, the dedicated workforce helping drive the UAE’s development, Vista Maritime highlighted the significance of acknowledging and supporting those who contribute to the nation’s progress.
Dr Zafar Tahir Rizvi, CEO of Vista Maritime Travel and Tourism, led the initiative with support of Dr Fatima Khalid, marketing head, and Vista team, who are jointly overseeing and coordinating the programme.
Dr Zafar praised the vital role played by overseas Pakistanis in welfare and community initiatives. He emphasised that it is “our prime responsibility to promote a positive image of the country through good deeds during the Holy Month of Ramadan.”
He also expressed deep appreciation for the UAE government, lauding its guidance and the facilities provided to organise welfare activities during Ramadan in a disciplined and well‑structured manner.

A spokesperson for Vista Maritime Travel and Tourism noted that the initiative aligns with the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen community ties and uphold the spirit of giving.
“Ramadan teaches us the importance of compassion and shared humanity,” the spokesperson said.
“We are proud to contribute to the well-being of the community and support those who tirelessly serve the nation.”
Vista Maritime plans to further expand its CSR programmes throughout the year, deepening its involvement in humanitarian initiatives across the UAE.
