AWR Lloyd Gulf Partners Consultancy LLC, the recently formed joint venture between Siraj Holding LLC, a private investment firm chaired by Ahmed Khalaf Al Otaiba, and AWR Lloyd, specialist consultancy firm, shared that it is planning to host a closed-door strategy symposium on the theme of 'Resilient value growth in Asia, the Middle East and Africa' in Abu Dhabi early next year.

CEO of AWR Lloyd Gulf Partners, Mehdi Sethom, commented: “The symposium will focus on how the GCC, as the emerging ‘Capital of Capital’, and key GCC players, can develop growth strategies across Asia, the Middle East and Africa, through investment and M&A that maximises shareholder returns in a sustainable way.”

Mohamed Rusan Fyroze, director of AWR Lloyd Gulf Partners and Group CEO of Siraj Holding LLC, shared: "This event will explore how GCC capital can be deployed across key markets in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa to drive resilient and profitable growth. It provides a valuable opportunity to bring together investors, business leaders, and policymakers to exchange ideas and best practices."

The symposium will focus on discussing and exploring the theme of ‘Resilient Value Growth’ in Asia, the Middle East and Africa, a combined meta-region that will account for two-thirds of global economic growth between now and 2050.

Alexander Wood, group CEO of AWR Lloyd, added: “AWR Lloyd’s hypothesis is that shareholder value can only be maximised sustainably, if a company’s strategy meets five key criteria. First it must be connected to a company’s competitive advantages and core purpose. Second it should be focused on markets which are not just ‘growing’ but which can generate long term risk-adjusted probability-based returns for the company well above cost of capital, ideally with revenue-stream optionality. Third, strategy should be alert, agile and realistic about evolving technologies and mega trends, starting with AI and Energy Transition. Fourth, strategies must be resilient and ‘Antifragile’ to crises and shocks. Fifth, they should be pursued symbiotically with stakeholder value growth.”

The event will take place on January 22, 2026 and will be limited to invited guests.
