Dubai — Milano, wholly-owned by Danube Group, recently completed 12 years of being a one-stop shop where one can find sanitary ware, electrical products, tiles, water purifier and hardware all under one roof. Milano is the ideal brand for personal projects as well as large-scale world class projects.
It all started with Danube Group managing director Anis Sajan and his vision.
Sajan believes that it takes ages to build a brand but one small error can pull the brand down very soon. He ensured that best-quality products are delivered to customers and the goodwill of the company is maintained, which has led to the success of the company.
Sajan says: “I believe in the we can grow faster than me, meaning if my dealers are happy and growing, my brand will grow naturally.†Milano has built a strong dealer network of around 5,000 dealers with the hard work of its sales team to ensure proper distribution as it’s not feasible to have so many showrooms.
The company has made sure that the dealer network was content and well-incentivised so that they actively participate in the sales and popularise the brand. The company worked on limited margins and passed on the maximum benefits to its dealers.
The company also started exporting not only to the Middle East but also Asia and Africa and aims to make Milano a known name across the world for sanitary, tiles and hardware and electricals.
The company also sharpened focus on retail distribution through the group’s 16 Danube Home showrooms in Middle East like the UAE, Oman and Bahrain covering one million sqft of retail space.
Now Milano has intensified its focus on engaging with developers, project contractors, MEP companies, facilities management companies, joineries as a one–stop shop for all the sanitary, tiles, and hardware and electrical products.
