Getting KT news has been a part of my routine for a decade
Tahera Sheth, Husain Sheth, Batul Sheth
We have been residing in Dubai for the past 10 years and the name synonymous with news for the region is Khaleej Times. This daily has been our regular source of information since we came here - it has always maintained its journalistic integrity and published unbiased news pieces. Whether current national or international news, Khaleej Times has always been swift and accurate in their reporting. Of late, we read the online version as it is convenient to do so during hectic work schedules. This helps us to keep abreast with the latest happenings, although reading the physical newspaper remains a priority! My go-to is the Business page. I enjoy reading those articles and getting my fill of new business information from there.
I love KT for its wonderful youth-focused magazine!

Thanks to the founder, the owners, and other staff, KT has worked really hard to be the best newspaper in the UAE. I am interested in Young Times because it has a lot of articles that cover the ongoing and relevant topics. It keeps me hooked from cover to cover. Every magazine issue has a different topic and most of them even grab the attention of my siblings and parents. I thank each and every one at KT for creating this amazing magazine and providing a valuable source of knowledge from across the globe for my age group. I enjoy reading the Nation, Technology, Sports, and Entertainment sections. However, my favourite is Young Times magazine.
I see KT as a daily with great value and no pretensions

I have been a regular subscriber of KT since 1998, soon after I came to the UAE. My uncle, who was a KT reader, introduced me to the paper. I have always enjoyed reading KT for various reasons. Since my early 20s, when I started reading it, I have found that it was on par with the journalistic standards of newspapers in India. It gives a comprehensive view of the world so much that it is like a capsule of all the news I need to know and follow on a daily basis. The language is friendly and without pretensions and the analytical writing in the op-ed pages is excellent. As a media research professional, I see great value in the business and local news, while my family keenly follows City Times. The relaunch of Young Times is a noteworthy step making KT a paper for all members of the family.  I find that the paper's local coverage, especially so now, is very informative and in-depth.
If you wanted to meet an avid reader of KT, look no further!

I have been a daily KT reader ever since the year 1979. The one time when I couldn't read the newspaper in its birthplace, was when I was out of town on holiday. But had a provision of getting the papers delivered to you in your hometown. I made use of that and got it delivered to me in Kerala, India. So, this is me reiterating the fact that that I've been an avid reader of the newspaper, and a regular one at that! What makes a daily paper special is what it can do for you; it can be your outlet to the big bad world or your recluse from the same bad world. You could find a pastime with a newspaper and its supplements or it can be a 'time-pass'. It can be a mirror of present times or a dreamy idea of utopia. I eagerly wait for new editions of KT. I'm proud to say that I have read every single copy of Khaleej Times.
My source for lifestyle and pop culture trends

My family and I are regular subscribers of Khaleej Times and have been for more than seven years. To be honest, I most enjoy reading City Times and the WKND magazine. As an aspiring model and actor, I am very keen on fashion, trends, movies, and so on. On the other hand, my mom can't imagine a morning without KT. This newspaper is more important for her than a cup of morning tea! She is the first (and often only one) to read the entire news section, and then passes on the papers to me. Last but not the least, I have been featured a couple of times in KT, hence it's my favourite newspaper! My mom always encourages me to read more current affairs and world news, but I love KT best for its lifestyle pieces.
KT was a constant through my school days

I grew up in the UAE in an era when media was scarce. The only source of window to the inside and outside world was KT. During my pre-teens, KT helped instil the habit of reading headlines and was instrumental in building my vocabulary. As the start of teens came by, my interests shifted to sports pages, City Times and the Young Times magazine. I loved its news corners, comics, short stories, and pretty much anything new it offered. For sure, the seeds of reading sprouted in me through KT. A lot has changed in media over the years, but still my mornings pass by with the glimpse, browse and feel of the paper. Being an expat who was born and brought up here in the UAE, KT is an epitome of nostalgia for me.
KT has been my storehouse of news and features for 21 years

Wonderful wordsmiths at KT often leave good and long-lasting impressions in my mind. Patrick Michael and Jug Suraiya (yesteryears), Bikram Vohra, Suresh Pattali, and Sushmita Bose are just some of the names. Add newcomers like Purva Grover and Eva Prabhakar. KT to me is like a power breakfast. A breakfast that is permitted even on fasting days!
These anniversary features make us feel like a part of KT family

Vibhro and Sangita Prakash
As a family, we really like Khaleej Times because it caters to all our needs - be it sports, finance, 'gossip' or just trying to fit in the daily headlines into our busy schedules by glancing at the main page. We love how KT presents news in a user-friendly format - it is concise and so easy to follow. Our appreciation definitely reflects in our loyalty through the years, even with the growing number of competition. Over time, we have witnessed how KT has transformed, and provided each one of us with something of our choice. Young Times was really liked by our daughters who would fight to finish the puzzles first; they were thrilled to hear of its comeback even years later. Vibhro likes to be in-the-know of all current affairs and ends up going through all parts of the newspaper. We never go to bed without finishing "Jumble" from City Times. We are both regular and loyal subscribers for 25 years, ever since we moved to Dubai in 1993.
Our days begin with Khaleej Times

Anny and Kavya Kurien
Anny: My husband, Kurien John, has been a KT subscriber for the past 40 years, and has never discontinued the subscription, regardless of whether we've been on vacation or seen other offers in the market. He takes pride in using Eid holidays as an example of the paper's credibility. Khaleej Times has always provided the right dates, and he'd rather wait to hear the information from the paper before making any plans. My daughter, Kavya, grew up reading Young Times, and her memories are related to winning a couple of competitions, solving puzzles with her friends, and putting up the centre spread posters in her room. As a teacher, KT has also been a source of quality time and bonding with my colleagues. We'd all try to finish the crossword for the day before the school assembly began. We'd look forward to this half an hour every day for years, and we still do it once in a while these days. Besides being the family's source of information, KT is also a fun element in our relationship with the neighbours. We know when one of us has slept in when the newspaper copy remains at the doorstep!
