The number one item on your lust list.

I truly have everything I need.

What good deed are you planning forthe day?

Allowing my husband to play football, again! Does that count?

Favourite vacation spot?

There is a special place in the South
of Spain on top of a hill overlooking
the ocean. It’s beauty and tranquillity are unreal.

Who would you like to be reborn as and why?

I would like to be reborn with more awareness, so that I can contribute more meaningfully. The who doesn’t matter then.

Your fitness mantra?

An outdoor run and yoga is part of my daily routine. It is a great boost (mentally and physically) for the whole day.

The first thing you think about when you wake up in the morning?

“Warum ist die Banane krumm?” Meaning, why is the banana curved? It’s just a funny German saying or question you ask when you want to say things are the way they are without any specific reason. It’s pretty philosophical, actually. Why is the banana curved?

The app on your smartphone you use most.

I constantly use my email accounts on my BlackBerry. It’s really helpful to be able to work whenever, and wherever I am.

A way in which you are trying to change your life this year.

I would like to eat even more healthy and vegan (that I already do). Animal farming is a key reason for poverty. Almost 18 pounds of grain that a cow consumes can produce one pound of meat. Those 18 pounds can sustain one family for
at least two weeks, whereas a pound of meat may appease the hunger once. And we use one third of the agricultural land of the world for animal feeding.

Favourite movie character of all time and why?

James Bond! There is nothing more awesome than constantly saving the world — all while looking smart and being charming on these really cool adventures.

Favourite cuisine and restaurant in Dubai.

I enjoy eating Sattvic Indian dishes. Some of the small authentic Indian restaurants in Dubai prepare it best.
