How do you typically start your workday?

By opening my eyes, checking the phone and seeing a hundred emails. That’s how it starts. If I don’t like the emails, I try to sleep again.

Describe your work in a sentence.

How about in a word? Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

What is your #1 personal principle at work? Do you have a catchphrase that you like to use to inspire people around you?

“Keep it up!” It might sound simple but it involves a lot. It’s a matter of being positive and active at all times. Have a positive and active way of living. Do sports, eat what keeps you active and, no matter what, be positive.

The Cirque Le Soir Team is about that. Before opening everyday, we have a 30-minute briefing and general discussion with the whole team. There is a good vibe between us and we have jokes that only we can understand. Just like you do with good friends.

This good relationship helps to keep it up. I tend to finish the briefing with a “Let’s rock it tonight!”

In your workday, what is the one thing you cannot do without?

Eating? And definitely a laugh. It’s my energy booster.

Most challenging project to date.

When you like what you do, you don’t feel it’s challenging. We love the competition. It makes us better.

Who is your role model, professionally?

I admire my team. There are great profiles in it. They work hard and strive for perfection. All of them do what they do best to ensure a great guest experience: waiters, bartenders, performers… all of them. I admire how hard they work and how, no matter what, they keep a smile. Each one of them is something of a role model.

Your favourite indulgence when you need a break from work.

I’ll keep that for myself. If you don’t know, don’t worry!

What is your greatest dream?

To be kissed and become a prince! That would be an amazing job.
