What: Ceo of shoe brand loriblu What is the first work-related thing you think of when you wake up?
I like to think of my work as a football game. In a market environment that is hard hit by the economic crisis, my team must attack, play hard, have courage, and at the same time be on the defensive to avoid mistakes caused by rash actions and poor decisions. We must think before others, invest before others, and create before others. We have to run the business in such a way that we score a goal.
What is your #1 personal principle/success mantra at work?
To be successful, I’ve always valued the qualities of honesty and strength. Through honesty, I show my respect and appreciation of my employees’ work, while encouraging them to constantly improve their craft.
In your workday, what is the one thing you cannot do without?
At work, I cannot be without my young, free spirit. Despite my age, my soul is young.
What’s your idea of switching off?
Unfortunately, I do not have time to switch &off! My husband really hates that expression as he thinks that our work is a continuous &process and should never go away. He says, “Only God can switch you off.” My entire &family is involved in our work, so it’s very difficult for us to separate work from our own personal lives.
And what’s your idea of an ideal weekend?
Relax, relax, relax (but mostly that’s a dream).
What is the last thing you (usually) do before you go to sleep?
Switch off the light! (Probably the only time my husband and I switch off!).
What is your greatest dream, professionally?
My dream is to bring Loriblu to the forefront of fashion through fantastic and lasting &designs that will be remembered for generations. I dream of our brand one day becoming the label to wear when it comes to luxury footwear and the name to emulate in the fashion business.
