What is the number one item on your lust list?

A girl cat for my baby boy Buddy! My cat is home alone most days while I have to work in the studio, so I’d love to find him a playmate.

Your favourite vacation spot?

I’m a major beach bum and a sucker for a gorgeous quiet beach location. In my travels around Europe, I found a stunning beach cove in Sicily, called Mondello. Its white sands and turquoise blue/green seas are out of this world. Not to mention the outstanding Sicilian creamy ice cream… YUM!

Who would you like to be reborn as and why?

Can I not be reborn again? There is too much cruelty, poverty and bad things happening here. Instead I’d like to leave this world and continue my journeys as an angel or guardian angel and look after people instead — a much better deal!

Your fitness mantra?

I am a huge believer in sleep! It’s what makes you beautiful and glow! Of course, throw in a few squats here and there and we can all get that J.Lo curvy figure too!

The first thing you think about when you wake up in the morning?

How grateful I am just to be alive, to be able to breathe, to walk, to talk and see and hear. Which is then slowly followed by thoughts of what mess my cat Buddy has made while I was asleep.

My BlackBerry road map app. I’m still so rubbish at learning the roads in the UAE, that I need help all the time!

Your favourite hangout in the UAE?

A secluded beach in Jumeirah 2! I can’t tell you the exact location, as it’s my quiet getaway and I’d like it to stay like that, so it’s top secret!

A way in which you are trying to change your life this year…

I have just been promoted at Channel 4 to drive time, so this year, I’d like to focus on giving back! Doing more charity and volunteer work to give back what has been given to me.

Your favourite movie character of all time, and why

I can’t decide between Toy Story’s Woody and Buzz Lightyear, or Shrek and Donkey! They are just fun characters that make me laugh anytime when I need to smile. It takes me out of this crazy world for two hours and into the mind of a child. I call it cartoon therapy.

What is your favourite cuisine, and favourite restaurant in Dubai?

I love a homemade shoulder of lamb in garlic sauce cooked for four hours. But if I go out and eat, it has to be Scoozi, because they do an all you can eat sushi buffet! I love 
proving to my friends that I can demolish 20 different bowls of sushi! No drinks allowed!
