Now a post-tropical cyclone, Dorian hit Canadian province of Nova Scotia with winds of 100mph (160kmph), toppling trees and cutting power for over 450,000 people, reported BBC.
In the aftermath, a video emerged showing a large construction crane collapsing onto a building in Halifax on Saturday. The terrifying video captures the moment the crane falls on a construction site. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, police said. "I was so shocked. My hands were shaking. I'm glad that nothing happened to anyone," Washington Examiner quoted Fatema Ali as saying..
Ali, a 22-year-old who filmed the video, added that the crane should have been removed before the storm hit eastern Canada. "Even if people were walking around, you never know, something could have happened," she added.
Storm Dorian is expected to weaken over the next couple of days as it moves across Nova Scotia and other portions of Eastern Canada and out into the Atlantic Ocean beyond.
