A 19-year-old teenager survived a horrific crash after his car went flying down a motorway overpass at 105mph in Argentina.
Video of the chilling accident was captured on CCTV and shows the teenager losing control of the white Volkswagen Voyage and crashing through the overpass barrier, smashing on the General Paz motorway beneath.
Patricio Avila was driving his stepfather's car alone in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in the wee hours on Friday when the accident occurred. The footage shows other vehicles driving down the underway applying the brakes to avoid pile-up, according to RT report.
Stating Avila is currently in a critical condition but is fortunate to have survived the horrific crash, the teenager's father informed that 'he spoke and breathed without help'. An eye- witness, known only as Veronica, told Clarin newspaper that the teenager was covered in blood with 'his half body inside the car and half out'. Firefighters had to cut open the vehicle to free open the 19-year-old. "I don't know how he managed to drive at such high speeds down the motorway without crashing into another vehicle," Veronica said, adding that the teenager is 'he is lucky to be alive'.
