Video: 6ft giant eagle attacks 8-year-old girl

Issyk-Kul - The girl needed several stitches after sustaining head injuries.

An 8-year-old girl was attacked by a golden eagle during a hunting display in Kyrgyzstan.
The child was amongst the spectators watching a hunting show during a festival being held in the country's Issyk-kul region when the bird suddenly swooped down, as reported by Daily Mail.
She screamed as the bird dug its talons into her, with people rushing in to free the child.
Handlers disentangled the bird from her, while she was rushed to the hospital after suffering from large scratches along her back. 
Doctors reported she needed several stitches after sustaining head injuries.
