It was a tragic sight at a hotel resort in china as an eight-year-old girl died when the inflatable water slide she was playing on, suddenly collapsed.
In a video on Daily Mail, the girl's distraught mother is seen screaming for help after the trapped girl is freed from the inflatable slide. 
According to reports, the child had been playing on the inflatable slide at a hotel resort in Huangshan, a popular tourist city in Anhui Province in eastern China, around 4:00pm on Saturday.
The resort stated that the inflatable slide was 'overcrowded' causing it collapse partially, trapping the girl inside. The girl was rescued and rushed to hospital but doctors failed to revive her. She is believed to have died from lack of oxygen.
The resort spokesperson told local newspaper Modern Express that the girl, surnamed Cai, had been playing on the overcrowded slide with her mother when the tragedy occurred. Four other tourists were also stuck in the collapsed slide with the girl and were taken to hospital.

An investigating into the accident has been launched and the water slide has been shut down. Following the accident, the district government has ordered all tourist attractions in the area to carry out extensive checks of their facilities to ensure their safety. While it is reported that the resort and the girl's family are said to be negotiating over compensation.
