A Lithuanian woman flew halfway across the world to meet her online boyfriend for the very first time. A video chronicling her story has recently gone viral and is proof that no distance could separate her from her Filipino beau.
According to a Filipino Times report, Vikachka Chaya Radaviciute and Eugene Galang first met on Instagram in May 2017 when Eugene, who was based in the Philippines, sent her a message that only said "Hi". This later turned into them becoming regular chat mates who would video call each other almost every day.

Separated by 5,802 miles of land and sea, Vikachka decided to fly to the Philippines to meet Eugene after a year of them constantly conversing with each other. While she was on her way to the Philippines, Eugene waited for her at the airport. When the plane finally landed, the two finally came face to face with each other for the very first time.
In a series of Facebook posts, Vikachka shared some photos of her and Eugene visiting several tourist spots in the Philippines. She was also introduced to Eugene's family.

Despite receiving minor comments from a few users, many on social media were touched by their cross-country love story. Many are wishing them happiness. One commenter who goes by the username "Dovahkiin069Nightfury" even said that "being able to find a rare kind of love even though you guys are 5,802 miles apart [is impressive]"
