Over 60 luxury cars, including Lamborghinis and Porsches, were recently reduced to scrap in the Philippines.
The cars are valued at 277 million Philippine pesos (Dh19 million approx).
Eight high-end motorcycles - amounting to 19 million pesos (Dh1.3 million approx.) - were also destroyed.

The illegally-imported vehicles were flattened by bulldozers in the Philippine government's latest drive against smuggling.
According to a Yahoo News report, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte oversaw the destruction of the vehicles which included a Lamborghini Gallardo, several Porsche 911s, BMWs spanning different generations and a couple of Harley-Davidson motorbikes.

According to province officials, these cars are the second batch of smuggled vehicles that will be crushed.

Over 800 vehicles have already been destroyed after they were brought illegally into the city port.

Earlier, the country had also destroyed several supercars in February including McLarens, Lamborghinis and Range Rovers.
The second smashing took place in June with 116 brand-new motorcycles and six cars being reduced to scrap.
