An overseas Filipino worker demolished the house she built in the Philippines with her hard-earned money because her siblings betrayed her, reported The City Vibes.
Jonalyn Obnar has been an OFW for 15 years and saved every penny to construct a house back in her country for herself and her husband. She trusted her siblings, who live in the Philippines, to help her build her dream house and used to send money to her sister.
She also sent an amount of Php 40,000 (Dh2,890 approx) for the title to be transferred to her name and to legally own the house and plot. However things did not go as planned for Jonalyn who discovered that although the house was built, the land that her sister offered her cannot be transferred in her name because of "mother title" issue.

This meant Jonalyn could not even sell the house, and hence she decided to demolish her dream house. She shared her heartbreaking story in a Facebook post along with a picture of herself posing outside the nearly built house and another photo which shows razed structure post the demolition.
Her post created quite abuzz online community with several empathising with her.
