Pakistan is all set to become the religious hub for Sikhs from all across the globe, as the construction work on Kartarpur project enters its final stages, a statement issued by the ruling party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, said on Saturday.
The historic Indo-Pak Kartarpur corridor will be open for the Sikh community on November 9, 2019 - with the world's largest Gurdwara being visited by Sikhs from India and other parts of the world.

The statement added that the project will become a major religious hub for the Sikh community, and will boost the local economy, earn foreign exchange for Pakistan and create jobs in different sectors including hospitality and religious tourism.
'Earlier Monks from Korea visited Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa for their religious rituals and now Sikhs will visit Kartarpur for their religious rituals.'
Earlier, India had announced that PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the project on their side on November 8, 2019.
