Man with 'two birthdays' uses them to win Dh7 million lottery

Washington - He used the two sets of numbers to buy a Multi-Match ticket.

 A paperwork mistake at the time of his birth helped a Maryland man win a lottery jackpot of $1.9 million (Dh7 million approximately).
The man, who is 79 years old , said when he was born in Louisiana, a paperwork error wrongly listed his birthday as April 23, and recently official records were rectified to list his correct birthday - April 21, UPI reported.
As the man deems both dates lucky, he used the two sets of numbers to buy a Multi-Match ticket. But he never expected that he would make a fortune from it.
"I was scanning the newspaper and flipped to the lottery section first, and when I saw the numbers, my eyes just grew bigger and bigger," the man said. He immediately called his wife to share the news, who didn't believe him at first. Now, the couple plan to utilise the windfall in the best way possible and are seeking the help of a financial adviser to do so.
