The art of glow... and glory
The man, hailing from Purathur, also in Kerala, had been admitted to a private hospital after three-fourths of his genitals had been severed, according to a report in the Hindu.
According to police, the woman took the drastic step against the 23-year-old man in an apparent revenge for jilting her. The woman, from Perumbavoor, claimed she had been married to the man, Irshad, for the past six months.
The two had checked into a lodge in Kerala on Thursday morning, and less than an hour later the woman came running down the stairs saying her husband was in an emergency and needed an ambulance, the report added.
The man was taken to the hospital, while the woman was taken to the police station, where she reportedly admitted slashing her partner's genitals for cheating on her.
