Rolls-Royce, Mercedes, Jaguar, BMW -- he owns all of these luxury car brands after he started off as a barber.
Ramesh Babu's story is a true example that with hard work and perseverance you can achieve anything.
Dream big, he says, as a mantra to his success.
The 48-year-old former barber realized his dreams with the tours and travel business he put up.
It is a rags-to-riches story as Ramesh in the earlier part of his life struggled to even meet his needs, and today has a fleet of 500 luxury cars.
Celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Aamir Khan, Kamal Haasan are among the celebrities who use his car, Manorama Online reported.
After his father's demise, his uncle took over their barber shop and paid Rs5 daily to their family.
Putting money together by starting to work early, Ramesh took back the shop from his uncle. To hone his skills, he enrolled himself at Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy in Singapore.
His first car was a Maruti Omni and there was soon no turning back for him as he went on to start his car rental company, says the article.
Today, Ramesh Tours & Travels is spread over Bengaluru, Chennai and Delhi and new branches will soon open in Mumbai and Goa.
But a fleet of 500 cars doesn't stop Ramesh Babu from picking up the scissors and cutting hair whenever he can.
