The latest incident of yet another noble act is when the minister came out in support of cross-border marriage by helping an Indian groom get married to his Pakistani fiancée.
According to the Times of India reports, 27-year-old Naqi Ali Khan from Lucknow and Sabahat Fatima from Pakistan had been engaged for two years but their marriage was on hold due to visa issues.

The couple then sought Sushma Swaraj's help through Twitter and Sabahat finally got her visa to fly to India. The two tied got married on Friday in Lucknow and expressed their gratitude for the minister who made it all possible for them.
"Both of us are extremely grateful to Sushma Swaraj for this great gift. We are hopeful that the Indian government will help us in getting Sabahat Indian nationality as well," said Khan.
