Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday tweeted to stress the need to ensure stress-free examinations.

The tweet on @narendramodi said: "Exams are approaching and so is Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC)! Let us keep working together to ensure stress-free examinations."

The tweet offered a unique contest for students of Classes IX to XII, with the winners getting to attend PPC 2020 early next year.

The post had 3K retweets and 15.7K likes. Several users also posted critical comments about discussion on jobs and onions.



Replying to @narendramodi, one user said: "Great... it is good that you are holding discussions on exams, but it will help us students a lot if caste-based reservation is removed."

Another user asked when a discussion on GDP would be held.

A fan of Modi tweeted: "Wow!!! Nice way forward towards a better education system..."

One user remarked that the government ought to ensure the implementation of Uniform Civil Code, population control law and the National Register for Citizens across India.

A fan tweeted that there is a need to revisit, review, rethink, restructure and redesign the Indian education system so that the country not only gets people who are the best educated, but are also best humans and nationalists.
