A Delhi court on Wednesday issued a non-bailable warrant against a former BSP MP's son, who is absconding after a case was registered against him for threatening a man with a gun at the Hyatt Regency in New Delhi.
According to news agency ANI, Delhi Police have also issued a show cause notice to the hotel asking it why its lodging licence should not be cancelled. The issuance of the notice has been flowed by the incident where Aashish Pandey, son of former BSP MP Rakesh Pandey had been seen wielding a gun on the hotel's premise on October 14.

The Patiala House Court issued the warrant on a plea of Delhi Police, which continued its operations in coordination with the Uttar Pradesh Police to nab Ashish Pandey.
The warrant was issued a day after a First Information Report was lodged against him for whipping out a pistol during a scuffle with another man and his woman friend at Hyatt Regency in south Delhi early on Sunday.
The Delhi Police told the court that a team was dispatched to his residential address in Lucknow, but he could not be found.
He had absconded and was deliberately evading the process of law, the police said in its plea.
According to the police, his mobile telephone's signals were last picked up in Uttar Pradesh's Basti district bordering Nepal. The police fear he could escape to the Himalayan nation.
