Furniture giant IKEA issued an urgent recall of their popular children's bibs following reports that a button on it can come off, posing a choking hazard.
The announcement made on Monday, urged customers to return the children's bib MATVRÅ, blue/red two-pack, and either get a full refund or a similar product.
Recalling the product, IKEA said: 'All our products are tested and comply with applicable standards and legislation. In spite of this we have received reports that the press stud on the MATVRÅ bibs can come off and thus presents a choking hazard'.
IKEA has already removed the particular blue and red bibs from its site in Australia and confirmed the recall does not affect the MATVRÅ Bib fruit/vegetables, green/yellow pattern, reported Daily Mail.
The furniture giant told customers in the recall that a receipt is not needed for a refund or exchange, and that they can contact IKEA on Facebook or call their state or territory contact.
