Woman tries to open plane door mid-flight

She tried to open the door during an argument onboard.

A British woman has pled guilty after she tried to open the door of a plane mid-flight.
According to the Independent, Chloe Haines, 26, pleaded guilty to charges of assault and endangering the safety of an aircraft.

She allegedly attempted to open the door of a Jet2 flight during an angry rant mid-air, causing the British Royal Air Force to send two Eurofighter Typhoon jets to intercept the plane.
She also allegedly scratched a flight attendant who tried to prevent her from opening the door of the plane.
The Airbus was on the way to Dalaman in Turkey when her actions forced it to divert back to the UK.

She was bailed to return to court on January 24th next year for sentencing.
