A tattoo-crazy mum who wanted to have her son Kevin's name inked was shocked when the tattoo artist wrote Kelvin instead.
Johanna Giselhäll Sandström, 30, from Kyrkhult, Sweden, ignored the spelling error, as opting for correction would mean shelling out more money and undergoing painful laser surgery.
Hence, Sandström decided to go the easy way and renamed her toddler instead.
Sandström selected and gave the tattoo artist designs featuring names of her two kids Nova and Kevin, The Sun quoted the mother as saying in Blekinge Läns Tidning.
"The artist drew the design and didn't ask about the spelling, so I didn't give it any thought," Sandström said.
Although the tattoo artist offered her a refund as he could not undo his work, the mum-of-three and her husband decided to 'rename the boy'.
Sandström added that she now actually likes the unique name Kelvin because 'no one else' has it.
For Sandström it is a lesson learnt who said she would be extra cautious if she gets her recently born daughter Freja's name tattooed on her body.
"I'm going to write it down on a piece of paper and check it over ten thousand times," Sandström said.
