Contesting the invasion of technology into classrooms, Apple CEO Tim Cook warned against the potential risks that Modern Technology brings along.
Cook who was speaking at a school in England on Friday, said that use of technology in schools should be limited.
"I don't believe in overuse (of technology). I'm not a person that says we've achieved success if you're using it all the time. I don't subscribe to that at all," Cook was quoted saying in Technology in Business.
Underlining the dangers of technology during schooling, Cook stated that even iPads are sometimes inappropriate in classrooms.
"In a course on literature, do I think you should use technology a lot? Probably not," he said as he addressed students seated in the audience. Cook certainly highlighted that introducing and encouraging the use technology in schools should be carefully supervised, considering that more educational institutions are turning towards technology.
Cook joined Apple in March 1998 as senior vice president of worldwide operations and was made chief executive on August 24, 2011, prior to Apple founder Steve Jobs' death in October that year.
