He had just left the showroom.

A buyer smashed a new Porsche worth Dh900,000 in a five-car pileup during a test drive just minutes away from its showroom in Wales on Sunday.

According to the Daily Mail, the driver damaged the front wing and wheels of the Porsche 911 GT2 RS. There are only 1,000 of the model, which can reach speeds of 211 mph.

"The guy had only just picked it up from Porsche around the corner and he claimed the brakes failed," said fellow driver Hywel Williams.

A police spokesman has confirmed that all vehicles have been recovered from the scene and no injuries have been reported.
