According to a report in the Metro, the 56-year-old man had been walking on the street below the building when the feline fell on his head.
He endured severe pain and distress to his neck and spine as a result of the animal landing on his head and has decided to sue the pet owner for the injuries.
He has also demanded a compensation for the same.
The municipal authorities have imposed a hefty fine on the cat owner for not controlling the feline. They have also indicted the owner for the injuries that the man suffered.
