The car was travelling at a high speed.

Two young men were killed when their speeding Porsche hit a median, went airborne and crashed into the second floor of a building in New Jersey.

Braden DeMartin, 22, was driving the $50,000 Porsche Boxster while his friend Daniel Foley, 23, was in the passenger seat the car crashed early Sunday. Horrifying photos of the crash on Daily Mail, show a gaping hole in the second floor wall, more than 15 feet above ground, of the unoccupied office building in Toms River.

According to reports, the car was travelling at a high speed when it lost control as skid marks were visible across the four lanes of the road leading up to the building. Such was the impact that the building has been deemed structurally unsafe while the red Porsche was completely wrecked in the crash.

According to police, there were no witnesses to the crash. They added that it unclear who owned the car but Foley posted online that he was selling car parts - 13" 2000 Mustang Cobra R rotors and a Cobra hood - in July. The starting price for a Porsche Boxster is $48,000 but the S model's recommended retail price is $59,000 and for an additional $3,500 buyers can add a PDK transmission which combines two gearboxes in one and increases the speed.

Friends of both, DeMartin and Foley, paid tribute to them on Facebook.
