Video: 5 dead in Louisiana plane crash

A fire official says five people have died after a small plane crash in the US.
A small plane crashed in an open field west of Lafayette Regional Airport in Louisiana on Saturday morning, police told CNN.
The plane doesn't appear to have hit any buildings, a Lafayette Police shift commander said.

BREAKING: A small plane has crash landed in Lafayette, Louisiana, 2.3 miles from the airport. There are several fatalities. 2 people were transported from the scene with serious burns.
